Best Brands honors brands that not only achieve financial success but also resonate emotionally with consumers. These are brands that shine, brands that leave a lasting impression, and brands associated with innovation and positive experiences. Every year, the Best Brands Award recognizes such exceptional brands. The aim is to promote outstanding, forward-thinking brand management in several countries and to provide a powerful platform for innovative communication solutions. The award is presented every year in Germany, Italy, Belgium, and Poland, with further countries soon to join this celebration of brand excellence.
Traditional brand rankings often rely solely on consumer perception or market performance. Best Brands is the first ranking to bring both dimensions together—evaluating brands not just by their economic impact but also by their emotional appeal. Unlike other awards, Best Brands does not rely on subjective jury decisions; instead, it measures brand strength exclusively through the voice of consumers. Conducted by NIQ/GfK, the award’s extensive, representative study assesses brand strength based on two criteria: actual market success and the brand’s appeal to consumers, which is key to future growth.
Best Brands is also expanding internationally.

On 27 February 2024, the best brands in Germany were awarded with the “Best Brands” award for the 22nd time.
On the 21st of March 2024, 21 brands were awarded with the Belgian “Best Brands” Award for the 9th time.
The 3rd edition of the Best Brand Poland Awards took place this summer on 6 June 2024 in Warsaw.
On 20 March 2024, the best brands in Italy were awarded with the “Best Brands” award.
